NIKE AND LEISURE QUEST INTERNATIONAL TO PRODUCE NIKE HALL OF COACHES FEATURING BRAD GILBERT

Nike China and Leisure Quest International one of the world’s leading developers and operators of leisure, sports and entertainment events will co-produce a high performance coaching clinic featuring the World’s #1 tennis Coach Brad Gilbert. The event is part of Nike’s successful Hall of Coaches program established by Nike in support of Chinese athletes and coaches preparing for the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Since its establishment, Nike’s Hall of Coaches has featured world famous sprinter Michael Johnson, Olympic Silver Medalist long distance runner Bernard Lagat and swimming sensation Aaron Peirsol. During the program, the athletes and their coaches share experiences and offer advice to help the Chinese Olympic teams improve as they prepare for the 2008 Olympic Summer Games being held in Beijing. The upcoming Hall of Coaches Featuring Brad Gilbert represents the first time the world’s top tennis coach will conduct a special, high performance coaching clinic for China’s top professional coaches. Earlier in the year Gilbert entered into an exclusive agreement with Leisure Quest International to conduct coaching clinics in China. The Nike hall of Coaches represents the first such clinic.

The Nike Hall of Coaches Featuring Brad Gilbert will take place April 3-5, 2006 in Beijing, China and is being sponsored by Nike in association with Leisure Quest International and the Chinese Tennis Association. The Chinese Tennis Association has arranged for over 40 of its top professional coaches to attend the 3 day clinic.
