"Rosie and the Hurricane", a new book by Fernanda Ferrell-Zabala, Olga Zabala, and Erin Sells, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Rosie is a curious seven-year-old who is worried about Hurricane Arthur. Along with her dog Napoleon and her Mommy, she navigates getting prepared, going through a storm, and the aftermath. Hurricanes are scary. This book teaches children that it is alright to feel scared sometimes, but by learning more about something, we can become less afraid of it. "Rosie and the Hurricane" provides a guide for parents on how to talk to their children about storms and how to include them in hurricane preparation.

About the Author
Fernanda Ferrell-Zabala is a mother to four awesome kids and three wild, furry dogs. She splits her time between Florida and Washington, DC. Her love for community and her desire to change the world one act of kindness at a time were in part the inspiration for "Rosie and the Hurricane". Fernanda is currently writing three other books for children and hopes to inspire and be inspired to write more in the years to come.
