Scott Rees & Co was established in 1992 by solicitors Peter Scott and Daniel Rees. Using cutting edge computer technology to handle cases swiftly and efficiently, the firm broke away from the traditional style of solicitor firms to specialise in personal injury law and conveyancing.
The new IT focussed approach allowed the firm to handle high volumes of workloads remotely and was an immediate success.

Partners :
Peter Scott LLB. Founding Partner, Peter Scott specialises in personal injury claims with overall responsibility for the management and strategy of the firm. He is married with three children and enjoys horse riding and farming in his spare time.
Daniel Rees LLB. Founding Partner Daniel Rees specialises in personal injury claims and is now largely involved with the management and development of the firm. Daniel studied law at Birmingham University and also has experience of general and commercial legal practise. He is married with children and lives locally.

Royston Smith LLB. Managing Partner of Scott Rees & Co and specialises in complex and catastrophic personal injury claims.
Royston dual qualified as a Legal Executive and a Solicitor and joined Scott Rees shortly after it was founded in 1992. He is now a member of The Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel.

In the last 18 months Royston settled a case where liability was disputed for a head-on collision along a country lane for more than £1.2 million. More recently, he won a high profile claim at trial in excess of £3.5 million.
Michael Carter BA. Joined Scott Rees in January 1998 and oversees the Conveyancing and Remortgaging Department.
David Byrne. Joined Scott Rees in 1992 and specialises in personal injury cases. He qualified as a solicitor in 2000 after studying law at Liverpool John Moores University and was made a partner in 2004.
