DAVID S. QUIN NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND MARKETING OF ACTIVE AERO PREMIUM TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT

Belleville, Michigan, March 2006 – Active Aero Group, LLC, announced that David S. Quin has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing - Premium Transportation Management (PTM). In his position, Quin will focus on the strategic growth of Active Aero PTM, a leading premium transportation logistics company. PTM offers clients technology-based solutions that simultaneously analyze time, quality, and cost across multiple modes of time-critical transportation – including heavy weight airfreight, expedited trucking and air charter.

Prior to joining Active Aero, Quin was President and CEO, UPS Expedite (formerly Menlo and Emery Expedite!), a position he held since 2001. Quin began his career in 1978 with CF Air Freight in Atlanta and served as Denver division manager until he launched Emery Expedite! in 1995. He is a native of Atlanta, GA and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.
