[MANCHESTER, NH] – A video to help promote your cause is always welcome, and for the Family Resource Center at Gorham, the timing couldn’t be better. The recent closing of the Fraser Paper Pulp Mill in nearby Berlin will only increase the need for the Family Resource Center at Gorham’s after school programs, support for pregnant women, family support services, and substance abuse prevention programs.Heartwood Media, a Manchester, NH based TV and digital media production company will be producing a video for the Family Resource Center, free of charge, as part of the first annual Heartwood Non-Profit Challenge.
“We were really impressed by the Family Resource Center’s message and focus,” said Chris Conroy, Creative Director of Heartwood Media. “They have a clear idea of how to best utilize the video to help their cause.”
In addition to providing services to the community, The Family Resource Center is currently pursuing an endowment to help ensure it can provide services long into the future.
“This is an amazing opportunity for the Center and for the community,” said Catherine McDowell, Executive Director of the Family Resource Center. "We have a story to tell and now, with this generous gift from the team at Heartwood Media, we will be able to create a professional video that will carry our story to a wider audience.”
