WILD ROSE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
“RUNNING WILD!”

(Wild Rose Elementary School, Monrovia, CA – March 15, 2006) Wild Rose Elementary School, 232 Jasmine, Monrovia, will be holding its annual “Running Wild” jog-a-thon fundraiser Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Wild Rose Elementary students have been busy finding sponsors, who promise to pay for each lap the child runs or pledge a certain amount for the child’s participation.

“I am excited that Wild Rose PTA is holding this event again,” said Dr. Audrey Lambert, School Principal. “Many of our students are ardent walkers in our daily walking program. This not only helps raise funds, it demonstrates our continuing commitment to student fitness.”

Students or Staff raising $30 or more in donations will receive a “Running Wild” t-shirt. Students raising $75 or more will be invited to a Root Beer Float Party. Students raising $125 or more will also be invited to a pizza party.

Wild Rose Elementary School has just been nominated as a “California Distinguished School,” and is already recognized as a “Title I Achieving” school.
