ArtinSoft Receives Certification from Microsoft’s Quality & Competitiveness Program for its Strategic Partner Companies

ArtinSoft Corp. received an official certification for the quality of its business practices from Microsoft’s Quality & Competitiveness (Q&C) Program at the first annual Q&C event in Costa Rica, held this past February at the National Museum of Costa Rican Art. ArtinSoft’s Marco Astúa was one of two keynote speakers at Microsoft’s exclusive launching of its Q&C Program in the country, directed at CEOs of Microsoft’s Latin American business partners.

“Q&C is an excellent program. It really helps Microsoft Partners evaluate and improve their management processes based on the most important quality-management models applied in the United States and Europe,” said Astúa during his presentation. “We are proud to receive this certification because it is a reflection of our ongoing efforts to provide top-quality services to our Partners and Customers.”

ArtinSoft, along with PRIDES, are the first two companies in Costa Rica to be certified by Q&C. “The commitment and drive for improvement shown by companies such as ArtinSoft are a key reason we at Microsoft keep working to help improve the quality and excellence that is characteristic of our strategic partners,” said Yuri Porras of Microsoft, Caribbean and Central America. “The Q&C Certification was awarded based on merit, and ArtinSoft has continually raised the bar when it comes to worldwide migration and upgrade services.”

Initially, the Q&C Program was launched in Mexico and Brazil in 2004, and after experiencing ample success, Microsoft extended it in 2005 to include all of Latin America. As of today, Q&C has awarded 90 hard-earned certifications to companies in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil.

The strict evaluation process is carried out by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), the number one certifying body in the world. The certification increases a company’s visibility and strengthens its credibility with respect to its customers, competitors, and partners.
