The Holmes Report considered C&C as “the best consultancy to work for” in Portugal

The Portuguese communications and PR consultancy C&C – Consultores de Comunicação, Lda has been considered by The Holmes Report as “the best consultancy to work for” in Portugal, European Consultancy Report Card, that lists 157 companies spread through 45 European countries.

Almost 50 consultancies have participated in this research “The best consultancy to work for”, and slightly more than 30 qualified for the designation.

“This designation speaks for itself and underlines and recognizes the stability that characterizes the human team of the consultancy”, states his founder and President, Alexandre Cordeiro. “And it is not a surprise for our clients; in fact, our consultants work for C&C for an average of 10 years, a record level certainly very hard to equal in Portugal to which it is not strange the high client retention rate we are very proud of”.

When making public this information C&C congratulates with the fact that the great majority of the listed companies in Portugal are members of the national association APECOM, which C&C actually presides.

The Portuguese consultancy is listed together with 9 other national competitors, only one of them (Cunha Vaz & Associados) being also an independent consultancy and fully Portuguese owned. All the other ones operate in several markets and/or are owned by foreign capital: Citigate, Hill&Knowlton, Inforpress Group, Ogilvy PR, Porter Novelli, Tinkle, Ulled Asociados and Weber Shandwick.

Established in 1979, C&C - Consultores de Comunicação, Lda is one of the main and oldest communication and PR consultancies operating in the Portuguese market. Presently with a staff of 18 consultants and a client’s portfolio of more that Portuguese and international clients, the global turnover of the company in the fiscal year of 2004 was slightly higher than 2 million Euros. Beyond its strong position and experience in the high technology area, particularly in the Its, the consultancy services several clients in other industries – consumer, tourism, manufacturing, chemical and pharmaceutical as well as national industry associations.
