The Big Bang Comics Group announces the addition of Allen Berrebbi as director of Business Development and Marketing.

Allen Berrebbi’s previous comic book experience includes acting as CFO of Future Comics where he was instrumental in the initial start-up of the company. Allen also hosted a popular Florida cable TV show called The Comic Book Show, expanding his contacts within the comic book industry. Allen later started a successful computer consulting/service company, specializing in assisting small businesses acquire an effective web presence. Allen’s other interests include participating in a comedy group, The Damage Control Comedy Crew (http://www.damagecontrolonline.com/) which has had cds and videos featured on iTunes, Google Video, MSN music among others. The Damage Control Comedy Crew is currently producing a TV pilot as well as an indie film.

Big Bang Comics is a contemporary comic publisher using vintage style story-telling techniques replicating the various ages (Golden Age, Silver Age, Marvel Age and Image Age) from comic book history. Main characters include Ultiman, the ultimate human-being, Knight Watchman, Thunder Girl, The Beacon, Blitz and Venus.

Big Bang Comics’ characters have appeared in crossover stories starring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Savage Dragon, Silver Age Shadowhawk and Allen Moore’s 1963 pantheon.

Big Bang principals, Gary Carlson and Chris Ecker, have a history of over 25 years in the creation of comic books, comic strips, equity advertising and contributing to the development of talented comic book artists and writers. Past credits include: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Mirage/Image), Aquaman (DC), Supreme (Image), Curious George, Dick Tracy (Tribune Syndicate), Cap’n Crunch (Quaker), and Vanguard (Image). Creators who have contributed early works to projects under the editorship of the pair include: Erik Larsen, Rob Liefeld and Angel Medina. Big Bang Comics has also worked with several other important previously established creators including; Murphy Anderson, Mike Barr, Sheldon Moldoff, Marty Nodell, Alex Ross, Curt Swan, Jim Valentino, and others.
