Buckaroo Style Showcased their Rope Names for Cowboy Kids at The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo.

AUSTIN, TX - Buckaroo Style showcased their Rope Names for Cool Cowboy Kids at the registration table and packet pick up for the 5th annual "Rodeo Rumble 1K Kids Race," part of the kick off to The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo. The event began at 9:30am on the State of Texas Fair and Rodeo Fairgrounds at the Travis County Exposition Center.

The Rodeo Rumble is free to all children up to 12 years of age, with registration. Rodeo Rumble t-shirts were given to the first 500 registered runners. Each registered participant also received a gift certificate from Run-Tex, goodie bags, free ice cream from Blue Bell, and a special award at the finish line.

The original buckaroo and son of Buckaroo Style's founder, ran in the 4 year olds and younger race. At the finish line, his picture was taken by a photographer for the Austin American-Statesman newspaper who asked his name for the record.

Next year, Buckaroo Style is invited to be an even bigger participant in this event, as sponsor, which includes promotional material in the "goodie bags" handed out to all runners. Sponsors this year included McDonalds, Blue Bell ice cream, LCRA, and Run-Tex, among others.
