March 12, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Digital technology and analog elegance are the winning combination for a set of new dual-view Honeywell home weather stations to be presented by Hideki Electronics, Inc. at the 2006 International Home and Housewares Show.Hideki will show three of its new analog-digital products as part of its Housewares exhibit in Booth #L12435 at Chicago’s McCormick Place convention facility.
Jim Boyle, president of Hideki, said, “Working together with Honeywell, we’ve been able to incorporate the classic convenience of an analog quartz clock with the technology for monitoring environmental conditions. Now, consumers can get their preferred clock face display and also receive useful weather information that they can consistently use in their everyday activities.”
The very unique look of the new products (TC683EL, MSRP $79.99; TC682EL, MSRP $69.99; and TC681EL, MSRP $69.99) emerge from Hideki’s line-up of Honeywell branded home weather station products. Each product has wireless weather station features that display practical information in a convenient way. The new styles each display information on round screens that are presented in different configurations. A landscape and a vertical rectangular silver and black housing are two of the new designs, while the third has the smooth look of two merging circles.
“The attention to detail, traditional elements, hi-tech features, reliability, and ease-of—operation of the new products are consistent with the outstanding Honeywell brand name reputation,” Boyle added.
The various advanced features of the Honeywell Wireless Weather Stations with Analog Quartz Clocks can include crescendo alarm with snooze, up to three 200-foot range wireless indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity sensors, comfort level indicators, weather forecaster, programmable temperature alarm, and back-lit displays that features weather icons for at-a-glance information.
The company expects the products to hit the market this summer.
