Media and tech veteran switches to senior corporate advisory role
Lincoln Crowne & Company (LCC) today announced the appointment of Philip Alexander to an expanding team at the independent corporate advisory and consulting firm, effective immediately.

Former Yahoo! Regional Corporate Development Director in South Asia, Philip Alexander, has joined Lincoln Crowne & Company as senior advisor, bringing over 20 years of success in online and traditional media, as well as technology management, to the role.
Nicholas Assef, Managing Director of Lincoln Crowne & Company said: "Phil adds to the existing expertise that Lincoln Crowne & Company has in the areas of Telco, Media and Technology. He is a seasoned Mergers & Acquisitions campaigner who will provide our clients with great insight and advice. He also compliments our operations geographically given our expanding presence in the Asian region.”
Mr. Alexander has held senior strategic M&A and operational roles in Europe, Asia and Australia. More recently he represented Yahoo! on the boards of Seek Communications and CarSales.com.au.
He recently retired as Chairman of the Internet Industry Association (IIA) in Australia, but remains a Director of that organisation. The IIA represents around 80% of the commercial activity online in Australia and members include all major ISPs, Telcos, mobile phone networks, publishers, e-commerce groups, as well as major banks and IT suppliers.
