Microsoft Expedia Executive travels to Lincoln Crowne & Company

James Vaile has been appointed a senior advisor at Lincoln Crowne & Company (LCC).

LCC’s Managing Director, Nicolas Assef said; "Due to the ongoing expansion of both Merger & Acquisition work levels, and our own private equity portfolio, the team at LCC have had to bolster its senior ranks. We are privileged to have James join our team."
James joins the LCC team after more than 26 years in the travel industry, bringing with him extensive experience in online travel and technology.

James left Microsoft Expedia in 2004 after eight very successful years with the company. James was appointed Managing Director of Microsoft Expedia UK in 1998 where he successfully launched the business (it's first operation outside the US), establishing it as the country's leading full service online travel agent and the 12th largest travel agent globally, in just three years. In 2001, James was appointed Vice President of Microsoft Expedia Europe, a role which saw him overseeing the businesses in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK.
In 2002, James accepted the role of Vice President of Microsoft Expedia Asia Pacific and was responsible for extending Microsoft Expedia's successful international business model into key markets in the Asia Pacific region.
For the past two years, James has been involved in online start-up projects throughout Europe and the Asia Pacific region, in addition to managing his real estate portfolio and sitting on various boards and advisory committees throughout the Asia Pacific region.
