Christa Anderson becomes Regional Director for North America visionapp makes top-class acquisition, expands operations into North America
March 11, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Anderson has been active in Windows Server environments for 15 years and is considered an expert in server-based computing. Author of several books, she is also one of only fifteen persons worldwide whom Microsoft has recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Windows Server—Terminal Server. As demonstrated by their successful appearance at the Citrix Summit in Orlando, Fla. in early February, visionapp's products and services are enjoying an increasing demand in North America. Drawing from her knowledge of the US market, Anderson believes that "one of the core problems in server-based computing is how to quickly and consistently deliver a stable multi-user environment.” Due to the high quality of visionapp’s solution for this problem and its enormous scope for expansion, she wanted to play an active role in its further development. "With her outstanding technical expertise and her excellent contacts with Microsoft, Christa Anderson fits just perfectly into our visionapp team, and she will undoubtedly generate a great impetus to building up the US business", says Frank Roth, Managing Director, Global Marketing & International Sales, visibly satisfied with visionapp's latest acquisition.
About Christa Anderson
As co-author (with Mark Minasi) of Mastering Windows Server 2003, since its first edition in 1992, Christa Anderson has been building her professional reputation for almost 15 years. Since then, she has firmly established herself as an expert in Terminal Server issues. Since 2002 Microsoft has recognized Anderson as a Most Valued Professional, a title given to non-Microsoft contributors to knowledge about Microsoft technologies. She has also presented at major industry events such as Comdex, Windows Connections, and iForum. Beyond her independent activities, Anderson has always been involved with the industry, either on a permanent basis or for specific projects. From 2002 to 2004, she worked as Senior Technologist for triCerat, a provider of utilities to enhance Terminal Server manageability.
