HONEY’S DANCERS SET TO BRING REDBRIDGE DANCE FESTIVAL ALIVE WITH THE BEAT OF BOLLYWOOD

Professional dancers and younger students from Honey’s Dance Academy in Ilford will be performing never before seen routines throughout the week on the 16th and 18th March. The Redbridge Dance Festival will be held in various venues across the town from Monday 13th March to Sunday 19th March 2006.

On Thursday 16th March, professional dancers from Honey’s Dance Academy will wow audiences at the Kenneth More Theatre, Oakland Road, as they perform a vibrant routine incorporating Bollywood and Bhangra styles. The performance will form an eclectic mix of dance forms, highlighting the diversity of the Redbridge Borough.

Thursday’s performance will be followed on Saturday 18th March by Honey’s Dance Academy’s younger dancers. Adorable students aged between 5 and11 years old will perform at Ilford’s Shout Bar on Clements Road, displaying the delights of Bollywood and demonstrating how fun and easy it is. Anisha Soor, one of the senior dancers from Honey’s Dance Academy will also be leading a dance workshop after the performance. Alisha will be showing members of the public Bollywood moves, allowing them to experience the wonders of Bollywood for themselves.
