Hard water meets its match with Eddy

BHT, manufacturers of the Eddy electronic descaler for treatment of
hard water, have announced a record increase in sales of 49% for the
year ending December 2005.

The Eddy water descaler and limescale inhibitor is a device which can
be easily fitted to the incoming water main of any home or small
industrial premises to prevent the build up of nuisance limescale
deposits in bathrooms and kitchens, water pipes and attached
appliances. It is often chosen by customers in preference to a
conventional water softener which requires constant replenishment with
salt in order to continue functioning. In contrast the Eddy electronic
water descaler is maintenance free. No plumbing is required in order
to fit the device, which acts as a scale inhibitor to inhibit the
formation of limescale deposits.

A spokesman for BHT commented "Limescale is a corrosive deposit

water descaling system, and as a real alternative to the conventional
