Free Resources for Massage Therapists.

JoyLife Therapeutics was founded in March of 2005 out of a desire to see chair massage done ‘the right way’ in accordance with how the founders of the company view the massage profession. “I want to see therapy available all over the place, in your dentists office, at the grocery store, in your office and at the school cafeteria,” says Brandon Thomas, co-founder of JoyLife. “But just as important as the where is the why and how, that’s why we try to spend time with the therapists who work for use. Guiding them on technique and ethical issues.”

“It just makes sense to commit our thoughts and experiences to writing and share them with the world. We felt like ‘Why are we giving this great stuff to only the people we know?’, so we decided to write it down and publish it,” asserts Alana Eve Burman, co-founder of JoyLife. It is this desire to share knowledge that has led JoyLife Therapeutics to publish it’s small but growing collection of massage therapist resources.

JoyLife Therapeutics plans to continue publishing content on a monthly basis and getting others involved as well, eventually publishing the writings of therapists who work for JoyLife and teachers and experts within the field. JoyLife will begin by publishing a collection of ethics articles that has been written over the past several months. Following this the company plans to publish coaching style articles for client/therapist interaction and technique focused specifically on chair massage.

JoyLife Therapeutics has always been dedicated to great massage as a necessary part of its business, cultivating it’s therapists with on the job training and feedback. Now JoyLife is able to help cultivate this same notion of excellence through its free online resources for massage therapists.
