During the training we explore the different types of fraud such as international bypass, GSM gateway bypass and settlement fraud. We cover such scenarios as boomeranging and tromboning and show how these techniques are used to deprive operators of revenues. When we look at the non-fraudulent revenue leaks we introduce a structure for delegates to help them work through a comprehensive assessment of the leakage opportunities. We guide delegates through the many facets of interconnect leakage, from switch errors through to billing processes and settlement errors through to problems in the interconnect agreements that prevent proper management of the problem.
