Traditional "Paper" First Anniversary Gift

A client, whose name shall be kept hidden at this stage, was looking for a traditional "paper" first anniversary gift for her husband. What better idea than a bespoke piece of poetry, written especially for the occasion? Then what shall I do with it? I know, I'll book a WHOLE column of the San Francisco Chronicle and publish the poem in there. Yes, it's true, A Gift of Poetry, one of the most popular poetry sites on the Internet today, has been commissioned with this request. Allen Jesson, founder and poet, says: "Yes, the first draft has already been written and we're just crossing the i's and dotting the t's at the moment. Most of our clients are normally quite happy with having their poetry presented in one of our boxed handmade cards so this is taking the "paper" angle one step further. I'm obviously not going to spoil the surprise by revealing more at this stage, but I will once the poem has been published".
