Michael Edell Appointed to Altametrics Board of Directors

Altametrics Inc., the California based web software developer of back office, supply chain, workforce management, business intelligence, and customer relationship management software, today announced the appointment of Michael Edell to its board of directors. Edell currently serves as principal of Warehouse Auction Centers, Inc. and Warp Nine Partners, LLC. Edell also serves on the board of PeopleSupport (Nasdaq:PSPT), a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) provider and in addition to the advisory boards of numerous other high technology companies.

Edell brings 25 years of business and operations experience at software companies to his role as a member of Altametrics’ board of directors. Before founding Warehouse Auction Centers, he served as CEO of eLabor, growing it to become one of the largest/most successful providers of Workforce Management Solutions. These solutions included Labor Management, Resource Planning and Optimization, Project Management and Recruitment Management applications delivered in both a licensed and ASP (hosted) options. eLabor’s project management division was acquired by Microsoft (NASD: MSFT) in 2000 and the software division was successfully acquired by ADP (NYSE: ADP) in 2003.
