Marketing and PR Pro Joins the Wild Women Entrepreneurs’ Board of Directors

Boston (February 25, 2006) –Wild Women Entrepreneurs (Wild WE) announced today that Shannon Cherry, APR, MA, has joined their board of directors.

Shannon Cherry, an Albany, NY resident, is the founder and president of Cherry Communications (www.cherrycommunications.com), and its subsidiary Be Heard Solutions (www.beheardsolutions.com). She promotes women-led businesses and other entrepreneurs by implementing innovative public relations plans and marketing strategies. Her clients have appeared on the pages of USA Today, the New York Times, Yahoo! Cherry earned accreditation in public relations from PRSA in 1995. She received her bachelor's degree in communications from SUNY Geneseo and an MA in Communications Administration from the University of Memphis. She is also a professional speaker and has co-authored the book, Become Your Own Great and Powerful: A Woman’s Guide to Living Your Real, Big Life.
