ParentClick.com Founder Recognized as StrollerFit® Mom of the Month - Award honors the very best of mom-owned businesses -

SANTA BARBARA, CA – Santa Barbara resident and mom of three Rachael Ross Steidl has been recognized as the February StrollerFit® Mom of the Month (MOM). Created by StrollerFit® Exercise with Your Baby™, the premier stroller fitness franchise, the MOM Award recognizes the very best of the mompreneur community – businesswomen who inspire others with their brilliance and their desire to contribute to the cause of motherhood.

Ross Steidl, mother to three young daughters, founded ParentClick.com in 2002 because she was frustrated by the effort it took to find information about local activities and programs for families. ParentClick.com is an online guide that centralizes family resources from pregnancy through the teen years with the goal of making life easier for parents by providing them as easy way to access local resources and activities. The site is updated daily and also includes a classifieds section where parents can buy and sell used children’s items. Steidl began with a Santa Barbara site, www.sbparent.com, and was soon receiving emails from moms across the country asking how they could provide a similar service for their cities. In December 2005, ParentClick.com began offering service agreements to provide others with the tools they need to set up a local site.

“Owning my own business is wonderful because it gives me flexibility to be with my kids,” said Ross Steidl. “I love what I do not only because I have created a business for myself but I am also able to give back to the community. My focus when I started SBParent.com was to support families in my community, and my focus in starting ParentClick.com is to support women in owning their own businesses.”
