ComplyXL version 1.1 - addin included for version recording and managing of Excel workbooks

ComplyXL offers managers the ability to interrogate and control spreadsheets without the need to have Excel installed. Version 1.1 extends ComplyXL by integrating version control functionality into Windows and Excel so that users have access to spreadsheets control features in Windows Explorer and Excel.

With ComplyXL 1.1 a user is able to add, manage and compare saved versions by using options available from the Microsoft Excel menu. As important, ComplyXL extends Window Explorer. New columns are available that can be added to the file details display to see at-a-glance which files have been managed and have been changed. This eliminates the need to look for signs of change on a file-by-file basis.”

About ComplyXL

ComplyXL plugs a well know gap in Excel because it allows the user to record versions. With this functionality the user can determine later if changes have been made to a workbook, and display the changes on-screen. Versions are saved within the workbook so are always available to any user of the workbook but are invisible to Excel. Each version is encrypted and can be signed by the person who saves it so the version authenticity can be verified later. An optional comment can be added.

ComplyXL can detect ANY change to a workbook and is not restricted to just cell data. Changes to cell formats, column width and row height, macros and many, many other attributes of a workbook will be detected.

A graphical view allows you to visualize the changes made to the workbook. Changes to cells across different workbooks or versions are color coded to make the changes clear.
