ITpreneurs supports ISACA in updating “Implementing IT Governance using CobiT" workshop.

ITpreneurs supported ISACA in a development workshop for improving the workshop: Implementing IT Governance using COBIT – . This is a two day workshop delivered by seasoned ISACA instructors globally . The Implementation Workshop will ensure thorough knowledge and implementation guidance for the stakeholders in order to give them a proper understanding of how to best implement COBIT in the organization.

The workshop was developed a number of years ago and needed modifications to reflect the changes made in the supporting Implementation Guide (an ISACA publication). The changes will also incorporate the learning gained in the past years through feedback from students and instructors. Lastly, the course also needs to be updated for CobiT 4.0.

A conference was conducted in Netherlands at CapGemini on January 19-20, to discuss the issue of updating the Workshop. This workshop brought together representatives from ISACA and other companies with a common goal. During these two days, a number of COBIT professionals and training experts worked together to improve the contents of the course. The conference was attended by experts like Greet Volders of Voquals NV, Belgium, Gary Hardy of ITWinners, South Africa and member, The COBIT Steering Committee, Roger Southgate, member, The COBIT Steering Committee and Arjan Woertman from ITpreneurs, to name a few.
