Seminar Set To Help Seniors Navigate Health Care Options

Overwhelmed and not sure what's available to you? The healthcare system, especially eldercare, is a complex arena. To help seniors and their families navigate the options and learn about the resources available to them, The Greens at Greenwich in partnership with CareBuilders at Home is offering a free seminar and discussion on Thursday, October 24th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the YMCA of Greenwich (50 East Putnam Ave. in Greenwich, CT).The seminar, Navigating Health Care for Seniors: How Do I Create and Manage My Team of Medical Professionals, is open to the public. It will address a variety of medical options, such as providers and care management services, living options and how to create a team of medical professionals to provide the best quality of life throughout the aging process. It will explore the pros and cons of the various options and give an opportunity to ask questions to a team of experts.
"Every person and situation is unique. It's important for seniors to have the knowledge about the most meaningful, comfortable, and affordable quality-of-life plan," explained Robert Ruotolo, president of the Stamford, CT based CareBuilders, at Home, an in-home care service agency that helps seniors with daily living tasks.
