Chicken Waterer.com Launches Freez Free® Brand Chicken Watering Valves

ChickenWaterer.com today announced the launch of Freez Free® brand watering valves, a new chicken watering valve that is less prone to freezing in winter.

Freez Free brand valves allow backyard chicken owners to create a sanitary Do-It-Yourself chicken waterer by connecting the valves to a water supply source — typically a plastic bucket or PVC pipe. The resulting watering system stays clean because the water is shielded from the open air and thus is less likely to be contaminated by dirt and droppings.

Freez Free brand valves contain fewer internal metal parts than most watering valves. When used in conjunction with a bucket de-icer, bird bath de-icer, or other submersible heater, Freez Free brand valves are capable of delivering an uninterrupted flow of water to chickens even when the outside temperature falls well below freezing.

Freez free brand valves can be mounted in either a horizontal or vertical position. All that's required for set up is an electric drill and a 3/8" (10mm) drill bit.
