CHICAGO - Aladdin Knowledge Systems (Nasdaq:ALDN), the worldwide leader in Software Digital Rights Management (DRM) and USB-based authentication solutions, and a leading innovator in enterprise secure content management, today announced eToken NG-FLASH, a device that will combine the powerful capabilities of strong authentication with the convenience of a mass storage drive. The new eToken is scheduled for general availability by April 2006. The USB-based eToken NG-FLASH will be initially introduced in three sizes – 128 MB, 512 MB and 1 GB. Organizations and solution partners will now be able to offer eToken users both the token itself as well as information they need to use while accessing secured data. With Aladdin eToken NG-FLASH, the auto run feature stands as a key benefit, enabling solution providers to pre-load applications and data, and run it directly from the token.
Adding a new level of convenience, Aladdin eToken NG-FLASH allows users to possess their secure, personal credentials, encrypted data and the personal information needed to access that data all on the token. This new feature saves time and minimizes the steps needed to use eToken for a variety of applications.
"After listening directly to the needs of our customers and solution partners, we're pleased to announce eToken NG-FLASH," said Shlomi Yanai, vice president of the Aladdin eToken Business Unit. "Available, at this stage, in three sizes of memory, eToken NG-FLASH is yet another illustration of Aladdin's continued commitment to innovation. The device will enable major cost savings for our customers, allowing their users to utilize eToken for secure access to the back office, and at the same time, carry personal information with them on the same device. We've added even greater convenience to eToken's already long list of unmatched benefits."
