First Transit Announces Jay Jeter as Region Vice President of Operations

CINCINNATI – First Transit, a leader in mobility solutions, announces the appointment of Jay Jeter as region vice president of operations for the southwest region, effective immediately. Jeter will report directly to Fadi Chakbazof, senior vice president for west operations.

"Jay brings an incredible track record of transportation experience," said Chakbazof. "As we continue to expand our mobility offerings for our customers, he has a passion for driving operational excellence."

Jeter has more than 18 years of transportation experience in areas such as operations, finance, legal, labor negotiations and customer engagement and leadership. He most recently held a leadership position at Transdev.

Jeter earned a bachelor's degree in public administration from the University of San Francisco and has a transit and paratransit management certificate from Pepperdine University. Jeter has two children and resides with his wife in Moraga, Calif.
