Capitol Annex Launches "In The News" Feature

This week, Capitol Annex (www.capitolannex.com), Texas' fastest-growing news and politics Weblog, announced the addition of its newest feature, "In The News," which gives readers a run-down of major news stories from across the state, as well as major national stories.

"I'm very pleased to make 'In The News' a regular feature of Capitol Annex," said Annex publisher Vince Leibowitz.

'In The News' joins 'From The Blogs,' another regular Capitol Annex feature designed to keep readers informed about major stories.

But, while 'From The Blogs' advises readers of major stories on weblogs covering Texas news and politics, 'In The News' informs readers of stories being covered by the mainstream media.

"I recognize that a lot of our readers don't have the time to examine search engine results or other news sites to determine what the mainstream media is saying about various political races or counties throughout the state. Nor do many of our readers have the desire to pay for similar services offered by for-pay sites," Leibowitz said.

As such, Capitol Annex offers 'In The News' and 'From The Blogs' as part of its totally free website.

"I believe this will help boost traffic and will ultimately help advertisers realize exactly how many people we reach in the Texas market each day," Leibowitz said.

According to Webalizer statistics, the site averages well over 2000 hits a day for the month of February, Leibowitz said.

A member of the Texas Progressive Ad Alliance, Capitol Annex accepts ads via BlogAds, Google Word Ads and AdBrite.
