BIM Designs, Inc. Announces Expansion of BIM/MEP Services and Locations

BIM Designs, Inc., answering strong demand for its detailing and engineering services, has announced the addition of Electrical and HVAC/Sheet Metal to its existing Plumbing/Pipefitting BIM/MEP service expertise. In addition, BIM Designs is proud to announce its expansion by opening an office in Phoenix, Arizona. The office joins the existing location in Los Angeles, California.

BIM Designs, Inc. has worked on Plumbing/Pipefitting BIM Modeling projects across the West with well-known companies such as Cupertino Electric, Inc., XL Construction, and Air Systems, Inc. With the addition of Electrical, HVAC, and Sheet Metal segmentations, "The company establishes itself as a full-service Design/Build consulting firm with crews of detailers and drafters capable of taking on the broad spectrum of detailing assignments," states Mark Oden, CEO at BIM Designs.

Opening the Phoenix location helps meet the demands of BIM Designs' growing customer base. Oden expressed his enthusiasm over the opening of the new location stating, "This expansion allows us to better meet the needs of the local Phoenix market as well as continue to expand our capabilities nationally, taking on detailing projects in lump sum or hourly contracts."

BIM Designs has established a strong relationship with and signed Phoenix-based UA Local 359, which serves the HVAC/Sheet Metal, Architectural, and Manufacturing industries. Having an existing relationship with local UA Plumbers and Pipefitters 469, the addition of Local 359 provides BIM Designs with a large pool of qualified, highly-trained candidates for area projects in need of Plumbing, Pipefitting, Electrical and HVAC/Sheet Metal expertise.

Due to Miller's 18 years of plumbing experience, 6 years in the field and 12 years detailing in California, Phoenix team members will have access to one of the most comprehensive codebooks in the country as part of their extensive training program. The Phoenix location will continue the company's strong focus on training and cross-training, ensuring the new team has comprehensive knowledge in AutoCAD MEP Fabrication, Revit, and other tools such as BIM 360 enabling the company to deliver on detailing/modeling contracts nationwide and internationally.
