Carol and Tom Dean never believed that they could be artists. But all that changed when they started crafting together in their workshop-teaching themselves drawing, painting, and woodworking.

We Met at the Dump is a celebration of how life changes. Though sometimes change is bittersweet, it can bring about some of the happiest experiences of our lives. Carol and Tom Dean have a combined 47 years in sanitation. They have seen many changes over the years, from incineration and landfilling of solid waste to the reuse/recycle movement.
