MUSKEGO, WISCONSIN… On October 24th, 2005, Hurricane Wilma, the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic, made a second landfall at Cape Romano, Florida. Standing at ground zero just 5 miles north of Cape Romano, the Duchess Condominiums on Marco Island endured Wilma's constant 125 mph winds along with flying debris and heavy rain.
