What does the tooth fairy do with all those teeth?

The “Tooth Fairy Lady” has decided to do something purposeful with all those teeth. Now that her castle of teeth is finally complete she is turning teeth into ribs. Titanium Ribs, that is, as part of the Titanium Rib Foundation.

Amy Beabout, owner of AmyLou Designs, Inc. manufacturer of tooth fairy pillows and books created The Titanium Rib Foundation. The foundation assists families whose children are participants in The VEPTR study out of Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

The “Tooth Fairy Lady” was created when Amy went out dressed as the tooth fairy. One first grader’s lofty opinion of Amy was that the costume was too small. Beabout, zany mom of four, is always dressing up whether too small or not.

Beabout, a professional storyteller, dressed as the tooth fairy this year for Halloween and had kindergarten classes and some of the first graders convinced she was the tooth fairy’s assistant. To this day, she cannot roam the grocery store without children staring, pulling on mother’s clothing and saying, “I know her, she’s the tooth fairy.”
