The new "Quantum Zip Line System" from Ropes Park Equipment was unveiled on the evening of February 1, 2018 at the opening of the annual Conference of the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) in Fort Worth, Texas. Quantum's multiple benefits now make positive slope zip lines, curved zip lines and regulated zip line riding and landing speeds possible.

The patent-pending, Quantum Zip Line System utilizes a long-established, magnetically based technology that has been employed for 100 years to safely regulate the speed and operation of other vehicular devices such as elevators, trains and rollercoasters to now do the same for zip lines. It will be a zip line game-changer.

Quantum can be integrated into new zip line plans and construction or retrofitted into any existent 1/2-inch straight zip line as well. It will be especially well-suited for canopy tours, and adventure parks. Quantum meets all standards set by both ACCT and ASTM International.

The Quantum Prototype demonstrated at the Ropes Park Equipment booth caused quite a buzz at the ACCT Conference. Sales, installation and service for Quantum will be handled by Ropes Park Equipment and its distributors.
