John Mathews Promoted to Senior Vice President of First Transit

CINCINNATI – First Transit, a leader in providing mobility solutions, announces the promotion of John Mathews to senior vice president of the central region and national call center operations, reporting directly to Beverly Edwards, chief operating officer. Mathews will be responsible for all central region transit contracting and management operations, call center and non-emergency medical transportation operations. Mathews will focus on operational performance for our customers, delivering safe and disciplined operations.

Mathews joined First Transit in 1989 and most recently served as region vice president for the central region. A graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., Mathews has three adult children and resides with his wife in Woodbury, Minn.
