Allshouse Designs Sponsors a Race Car
January 20, 2018 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
The combination of a digital marketing agency and race car sponsorship may seem a little unusual, but this partnership has been a long time in the making. The guys behind Allshouse Designs, Alec Allshouse and Matt McPherson, are self-described "gear heads" with a long history of modifying and improving cars in their spare time, so they're more than equipped to lend a helping hand to the improvement of their already-purchased car. Furthermore, they won't be alone with this endeavor. Meet the driver - The team behind Allshouse Designs have partnered with racing driver Jon Roberts. Roberts is a long-time friend of the Allshouse duo, and brings huge racing credentials to the team. Roberts grew up in a dedicated racing family that lead to him starting to race Quarter Midgets at the age of 10, which has transitioned to a childhood passion. Over seven racing seasons, Roberts has won 24 main events, so his experience and expertise will be invaluable to the Allshouse team.
The aim - The Allshouse Designs-sponsored car is destined for its day of reckoning by March 3rd; the point at which tracks open for track practice— but it's going to be a long road to get to that point. The team estimate at least 120 hours of work are required to get the car fit for the March 3rd target date— but the people involved have never been the type to shy away from a challenge.
The work required is substantial, but within reach in their short deadline. The suspension of the car needs to be fully converted to a coil version, as well as the installation of a completely new engine. The exterior of the car will be receiving a makeover too; the old decals have already been removed, while panels will be replaced and fresh paint applied prior to the target date.
Follow their progress
Allshouse Designs' progress will be covered on their YouTube channel, with regular updates helping to keep those interested informed in the latest developments with the car. The company also keep a blog, which will include car updates, as the major renovation work on the car begins, as well as detailing the actual races when the time comes. Anyone with an interest in seeing a slightly battered car transform into a racer will delight in following their progress through the ups and downs of the complex work being undertaken, and the challenge of racing the car for the first time.
Furthermore, Allshouse and Roberts are welcoming co-sponsors, who will receive a featured mention in all of the online updates as well as a logo on the car itself.
Allshouse Designs have a reputation for excellent workmanship in their advertising and digital marketing operations, so it will be fascinating to see them carry their dedication to perfection over to their new venture.
