Fischer International Identity Protects Customers from "Meltdown"

January 12, 2018 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
January 12, 2018 - Fischer International Identity today announced their rapid response and continuing plans to protect identity governance and administration customers from the Meltdown and Spectre emergency.

The core Fischer Identity™ software is unaffected by these vulnerabilities. Fischer's mitigation efforts have and will continue to be focused on hardening security for affected components within Fischer's managed Identity as a Service® (IaaS®) cloud infrastructure and corporate environments, and increasing vigilance to identify potentially anomalous activity. Third-party updates will continue to be tested and applied as they become available.

Fischer is also providing both cloud and on-premises customers with a digest of Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities, including best practices to thwart attacks within their own infrastructures.

"Our customers entrust Fischer with protecting access to their most sensitive information assets," said Andrew Sroka, President & CEO at Fischer. "Our rapid response and stewardship through this unforeseen and complex situation is exactly what every Fischer customer has come to expect."
