New Prague, MN (February 8, 2006) — Just in time for Valentine’s Day, independent recording artists The O’Neill Brothers are releasing a new collection of familiar and soon-to-be-favorite love songs. Someone You Love includes 15 romantic tunes, including two featuring vocals by former pop princess and Broadway mainstay Deborah Gibson. Someone You Love includes a full hour of often-requested instrumental love songs such as “At Last,” “I’ll Take You Home Again, Kathleen,” “Annie’s Song” and “Wonderful Tonight.” Deborah Gibson performs the title track and a new acoustic version of her hit “Lost In Your Eyes.” Gibson, who exploded onto the pop music scene at age 16 with the #1 hits “Only In My Dreams” and “Lost In Your Eyes,” will also join Tim and Ryan on stage as they travel to nine Midwestern cities in February 2006 for their “Someone You Love” tour.
“We’re proud of the relaxing, instrumental versions of the songs we recorded for Someone You Love,” says Tim O’Neill, 33. “And we’re especially thrilled to include Deborah Gibson’s beautiful voice on the CD. When we were thinking about singers who would be a perfect match for our style of music, Deborah’s name rose to the top of the list. She’s been a dream to work with.” The CD will be available online at www.pianobrothers.com now and at retail outlets across the country on February 14, 2006.
Tim and Ryan O’Neill have sold more than one million CDs — without being associated with a major record label. Along the way, the brothers have written and performed music for HBO (including music for “Sex and the City”), NBC and ESPN; and performed for President George H.W. Bush. In February and May of 2005, their 3-CD set of romantic songs, From the Heart, hit Billboard magazine’s Top Pop Catalog Album chart. The O’Neill Brothers are Yamaha artists.
