VISTA, CA – January 4, 2018 — INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY & TOTALIZATOR SYSTEMS, INC. ("ILTS") announced today that it has been awarded the World Lottery Association Security Control Standard:2016 ("WLA-SCS:2016") certification and the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification signaling that its information security management practices meet the highest international standards and best practices.The formal assessment and audit for the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification was conducted in accordance with the PECB auditing and certification procedures by PECB, a global management system certification body accredited by the International Accreditation Service. The WLA certification attests that the Information Security Management System ("ISMS") of ILTS has met the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2013, together with the additional security requirements of the General Security and Integrity Control Objectives and Controls of the WLA SCS:2016 for the design, the development and the provision of lottery processing systems, in accordance with the statement of applicability and scope established within the ISMS operated by ILTS. ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is a globally recognized standard for the establishment, maintenance, and certification of an information security management system.
