November 1, 2017 - The southern Ohio/Kentucky chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) recently awarded two separate honors to Louisville's own Certified Interior Designer Bethany Adams, Founder and Creative Director of Bethany Adams Interiors, formerly Chic Home. The ASID works to advance interior designers in communities while communicating the impact of design on the human experience. Their 2017 Design Excellence Awards recognize the best interior designers in the area for their outstanding work. This year, the ASID recognized Adams for her designs of Residential Space over 2,000 sq. ft. as well as Best of Show. Awards are given to members who make an impact on their fellow members as well as their community.
A special award ceremony and dinner recognizing Adams and other area ASID award-recipients was hosted by the Ohio South / Kentucky Chapter of the ASID on September 22, 2017, at New Riff Distilling in Newport, Kentucky.
Adams specializes in creating vibrant, engaging spaces where clients can draw inspiration and find beauty and balance. While most of her work focuses on interior architecture and design, she also has expertise in crafting outdoor public spaces. Most recently she partnered with Phil Bevins, local Landscape Designer of Bevins and Company Landscape Design, to renovate and restore Garvin Gate in downtown Louisville, KY.
