Credentials Solutions Partners with Parkmobile, LLC

September 6, 2017 - Credentials Solutions has partnered with Parkmobile, LLC to add hourly and daily parking, allowing customers to use their mobile device to facilitate payment for parking. This feature will complement Credentials' ParkingPlus® suite of services, which includes parking permit ordering and fulfillment, as well as its recently announced license plate recognition (LPR) solution.

Parkmobile, LLC is the leading provider for on-demand and prepaid mobile payments for on- and off-street parking. To use the Parkmobile system, customers can register for free through the app or at www.parkmobile.com. Once registered, they may use the app, internet, or call toll-free to pay for parking. Enforcement officers are able to see that a motorist has paid and registered their license plate number with Parkmobile through the LPR system or by using a wireless handheld device. Mobile app users may also choose to receive alerts prior to their parking session expiring. Time limits still apply and the app will not allow users to purchase more time than allotted by institutional policy. This eliminates the hassle of finding a pay station, carrying cash and then placing a receipt on the dashboard, which is inconvenient and time consuming.

Credentials Solutions provides parking services for over 50 colleges and universities nationwide, but until now, never had a mobile solution for daily parking. With the addition of Parkmobile to its product offerings, Credentials can now better service its customers and their end users.
