About the Author:
The author was born in Madeira Island, Portugal, and immigrated to America as a young child. She later became a U.S. citizen. She achieved a distinguished forty-four year career in the private and public service. She is married and lives in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she is currently writing a second book entitled Matthiass Leap of Faith.
