Indulge Your Sweetheart at Wentworth Mansion and Circa 1886 This Valentine's Day

Treat yourself and that special sweetheart to a romantic getaway this Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, at the three-time AAA Five-Diamond Award winner Wentworth Mansion® and its on-site AAA Four-Diamond Award-winning restaurant, Circa 1886. Especially for Valentine's Day, Circa 1886's Executive Chef Marc Collins has created a sumptuous, five-course dinner to celebrate the sweetest of days. Teaming with the restaurant to make the occasion a more memorable one, Wentworth Mansion® will offer a luxurious one-night package for couples, which includes one dozen red roses in your room, along with candlelight turndown and gourmet dinner for two at Circa 1886.

The cost of the special Valentine's Day dinner is $100 per person excluding beverages, tax and gratuity. The hotel and dinner package is $595 for the room and dinner for two. The room package includes tax and gratuity, but not beverages for the dinner, and excludes tax at the Wentworth Mansion®.

Collins' tempting menu begins with porcini-dusted sea scallop with golden butternut squash, topped with cinnamon oil and sage butter, followed by hearts of palm soup, served with crispy conch hush puppies finished with Key lime oil and cane carrot juice. For the third course, guests will feast on basil-laced field greens with blood oranges, alongside duck rillettes and crostini, with rich pistachio dressing,

For the main course, guests will be enticed by a choice of three entrees: caramel apple-glazed lamb chop served with cheddar raisin grits and spiced carrots, all with a creamy pine nut sauce; tender sole fillets stuffed with lobster mousse with warm saffron rice salad with ramp sauce; or veal "osso bucco" en croute with fresh baby spinach, Yukon potatoes, ruby red grapefruit and rosemary relish. For a decadent encore, pastry chef Alicia Prescott will offer lush pomegranate cream pie adorned with white chocolate mint ice cream, drizzled with organic
chocolate ganache.

There will be two dinner seatings Feb. 14, the first at 6 p.m. and the second at 9 p.m. Reservations are being accepted for the Valentine's Dinner or for the Valentine's Package at Wentworth Mansion, which includes the special dinner at Circa 1886.
