Two Denver media buying companies join forces.

On February 3, 2006 it was announced that The Media Team, a company specializing in media planning, placement and execution with offices in Denver (http://www.themediateam.com) and Dallas, will merge with John F. Sauer Company, a Denver broadcast placement agency. The combined agency will become Denver’s largest media-only advertising company (http://www.themediateam.com) with client billings over $30 million.

“I have known John Sauer for over 20 years and admire his integrity and deep knowledge of the Denver advertising market,” said Eileen Weinert, President of The Media Team. “It is a natural combination of our two companies’ strengths.”
John Sauer added, ”For 20 years I’ve been fortunate enough to work with a fabulous group of clients. They’re friends and actually like family! With The Media Team, these clients’ future growth is unlimited and I can’t wait to get started on this new endeavor.”

The company will operate under The Media Team name and will be located at 940 Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood.

The Media Team, Colorado’s oldest media-only firm with $20 million in annual billings, was formed in 1979. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Affiliates, Inc. of Denver. The John F. Sauer Media Company was formed in 1986.
