KEYCAMP IN THE DRIVING SEAT
February 03, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Media News
Collecting customers from airports in France, Spain, Italy, Austria and Holland and driving them direct to more than 50 resorts, the private taxi service makes the first class facilities of European’s finest campsites accessible even to those who would rather leave the driving to the locals. Although self-drive with a ferry crossing has traditionally been the most common way to travel to European campsites, the growth of the low-cost airlines means that 30% of Keycamp’s customers now prefer fly-drive packages. The new private transfer service is perfect as many of the resorts boast such a fantastic pool and wide range of shops and sports activities that children can be fully entertained for two weeks without leaving the site.
A single airport transfer for up to four people costs from £31 in a private taxi. Return fares and supplements for larger parties requiring people carriers and minibuses are also available.
The private taxi transfer is just one of the exciting developments in the new 2006 Keycamp brochure, which also introduces three brand new sites in Croatia, Sardinia and the Venetian Riviera, plus debuts chalet accommodation and the Prestige, a brand new luxury mobile home with widescreen television, DVD player and an American style fridge-freezer.
