MAPLEWOOD, NY - Comfortex Window Fashions, a leading innovative manufacturer and fabricator of custom window treatment products for global distribution, is pleased to announce a battery powered motorization system for its entire collection of cellular shades.

The motor system, powered by Somfy motorization, allows homeowners to raise and lower Comfortex Cellular Shades without having to manually adjust individual treatments by the pull cords. By flipping a switch or pushing a button, the shades can be opened or closed on demand to provide privacy and light control when needed. Timers and sun activated sensors can also be ordered to operate shades automatically.
