Windsor Healthcare Communities Celebrates Two Award Winning Administrators

March 4, 2017 - Joanne Escovar, Administrator of Windsor Garden, a Windsor Healthcare Community in East Orange, New Jersey is the 2017 recipient of the ACHCA Distinguished Healthcare Administrator Award. Ari Lev, Administrator of Cornell Hall in Union, New Jersey is the 2017 recipient of the ACHCA New Administrator of the Year Award.The American College of Health Care Administrators New Jersey Chapter made the announcements at the annual meeting this week. "The award recognizes our chapters distinguished administrators of the year who characterize professionalism and leadership serving our profession. This is one of the most meaningful opportunities members have to recognize the achievements and promise of both seasoned and new administrators", said James Zauner, Chair of the Awards Committee of the NJ Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Administrators.
Escovar and Lev were nominated by their colleagues, Rowena Sabastian and Batsheva Katz.
"I'm absolutely delighted that ACHCA is honoring Joanne Escovar and Ari Lev with these awards for excellence. You could search the world and not find more dedicated and passionate Administrators", said Katz.
"It is an honor to receive this award and I am humbled to receive such recognition for doing what I love," said Escovar.
"I am proud to be honored with this award and excited about my future journey in this industry," added Lev.
Ms. Escovar began her healthcare career forty-five years ago, and was one of the first one hundred individuals in New Jersey to receive their administrator license. Mr. Lev is a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson University and began his career as an Administrator in 2013. "Ms. Escovar and Mr. Lev are highly respected professionals, and reflective of Windsor Healthcare Communities commitment to setting the highest standards of care for the elders they serve. These awards highlight their willingness to lead by example and both have been invaluable to the success of their respective communities," said Michael Jacobs, Windsor Vice President.
