Control Solutions Appoints David Susalla Practice Leader of IIA QAR Requirement

David Susalla, MBA, CPA, has been accredited by The Institute of Internal Auditors as an Internal Quality Assessment/Validation auditor. Mr. Susalla, a Director for Control Solutions’ Internal Audit Services, will now be one of the firm’s practice leaders assisting clients comply with Standard 1300 of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). He and his team will conduct Quality Assessments of his clients’ internal audit department.

Mr. Susalla has over twenty years of business experience leading and improving financial and operational results in manufacturing, service and non-profit related companies. He has extensive experience implementing and enhancing financial reporting, treasury management and internal control systems, process improvement, turnaround and acquisition integration. Ms. Susalla holds a BBA in Accounting from The University of Michigan, an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. He is a former Communications Committee Board member of The Executives’ Club of Chicago, Past President and past Treasurer of The University of Michigan Club of Chicago, and past Director of the Institute of Management Accountants.
