Diversified Therapy Signs Contracts for Five New Wound Care Centers New Centers Will Be Located at Hospitals in Florida, Mississippi, New York and Tennessee

Jacksonville, FL (January 2006) - Diversified Therapy, the nation’s leading disease management company focusing on collaborating with hospitals to establish and manage comprehensive outpatient wound care programs, announces the signing of five new hospital contracts in December 2005. The new wound care centers will be located in Jellico, Tennessee; Jackson, Tennessee; Buffalo, New York; Grenada, Mississippi and Lakeland, Florida. This increases the total number of Diversified Therapy hospital partnerships to 72 in 25 states, including 18 centers in Florida.

“We’ve added a record 22 centers in the last 12 months,” said Jim Henry, President and CEO of Diversified Therapy. “We expect the strong growth to continue in 2006,” he added. The annual cost of treating patients in the U.S. with problem wounds is estimated at more than $16 billion. Several factors are expected to continue to contribute to the growing need for specialized wound care, including more cases of diabetes; an aging population and the effects of radiation therapy.
