Kevin Kennedy Joins Red Oak Capital Group As Senior Partner

October 5, 2016 - NEW YORK, NY – Red Oak Capital Group, LLC (RED OAK) announced today that Kevin P. Kennedy has joined Red Oak as a Senior Partner. Kennedy will be responsible for capital acquisition and management for the firms' real estate development and financing division.

Kennedy holds more than 26 years of senior leadership experience in the Investment Management field. Most recently, Kennedy served as Managing Director and Divisional Sales Director for BlackRock (BLK) and held responsibility for the Wire House team in the central region. Prior to this role, Kennedy managed the Central Division at BlackRock covering the Merrill Lynch channel.

Previously, Kennedy served as Vice President, Asset Management Advisor with Merril Lynch Investment Managers (BAC) covering the Midwest region. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1990 as a trading liaison within the private client group and continued to hold other investment management positions of increasing responsibility.

Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Duquesne University, in Pittsburg, PA. He completed his Certified Investment Management Analyst certification (CIMA) designation from Wharton Executive Education-University of Pennsylvania in 2007.

Kennedy will be responsible for institutional investment operations both in the United States and internationally, and will be based in Red Oaks' Michigan office.
